Yonkers, NY - Gerry Houlihan of Houlihan & O’Malley Real Estate Services worked very quickly to locate Westside Hospitality Group to take over the Pier View restaurant at 1 Van Der Donck Street, Yonkers, NY.

This restaurant is in the new Yonkers waterfront development directly across from Peter Kelly’s famed Xaviars H2O On The Hudson restaurant.

The new Restaurant will be called The Gas Light Ale House and will feature a contemporary American menu along with fine wines and beer. Westside Hospitality Group owns and manages a multiple of locations in New York City and Westchester. The restaurant will be managed by Yonkers native and long time restaurateur Nicky Sarro. Mr. Sarro says that he plans on opening the restaurant as soon as the renovations are completed.

When choosing Westside Hospitality, Landlord Dwight Collins of Collins Enterprises LLC was particularly mindful of the best interest of his surrounding residential tenants. “Westside Hospitality will complement the Yonkers waterfront perfectly with a moderate priced menu, and years of successful restaurant experience” according to Dwight Collins.

Gerry Houlihan of Houlihan & O’Malley Real Estate Services said “Nicky Sarro knows how to service and satisfy the summer crowds as well as attract customers during the colder months with ala carte dining and private parties. His business model fits perfectly with Dwight’s and Mayor Phil Amicone’s vision for the waterfront.”

Collins Enterprises LLC now owns and operates a $500 million portfolio of multifamily and commercial office buildings from Virginia to the New York City area. The firm is nationally recognized for building unique redevelopment projects, often in strategic locations such as urban waterfronts and reemerging downtowns.
