Yonkers Professionals Network was founded by a group of
professionals focused on improving the business marketplace in Yonkers,
New York. Their goal is to host networking events that bring
together active participants in the happenings of the City and as well
as spread the word of the City's continuing resurgence.

Martin Ball is the Financial Center Manager for
Citibank’s office in Yonkers. He is responsible for managing
the portfolio of the Center’s business clients; deepening the
relationship of assigned portfolios and growing revenue by cross-selling
additional business and non-business solutions; and servicing all
business clients domiciled at the Financial Center. Prior to joining
Citibank, Martin was an Economic Development Specialist for the City of
Yonkers in the Office of Economic
Development. He worked on the
relocation of new businesses to Yonkers and helped retained existing
ones. He managed several tax credit programs such as the NYS Empire
Zone, the NYS Brownfields and the Federal Empowerment Zone programs.
Martin also was the producer and host of the City’s TV program, “Yonkers
on the Move” and worked on Yonkers Business
Week, the largest event of
its kind in the Tri-State Area. Previous to working in Yonkers, he was
the Regional Sales Manager for Gold’s Gym in North Carolina and over
saw nine health clubs. Martin Ball was born, raised and still resides in
Yonkers. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Beczak Environmental Education Center,
Inc. Martin is part of the Sacred Heart Parish in North West Yonkers,
where he attended Sacred Heart’s Grade School and High
School. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and studied
Business Marketing with a Minor in Communications. Martin has coached
Sacred Heart’s Boy’s Varsity Basketball in Yonkers for the past
three years.

Tom Dwyer is the Chief Operating Officer of American
Land Services, a full-service title insurance company that provides
insurance and related services to professionals in the real estate and
banking community. He started two subsidiaries: American Land Advisors
(ALA), a business development and consulting company servicing a wide
variety of small to medium sized companies; and American Land Financial
Services (ALFS), a financial advisory firm that oversees the design and
implementation of financing plans most appropriate for the financial
condition and position, overall capital needs, and organizational
structure of clients. Previously Tom was an investment banker at Smith
Barney and Commerce Capital Markets, concentrating on economic
development, real estate finance and municipal finance. Additionally, he
worked for the Empire
State Development Corporation where he reviewed and analyzed annual
budgets for the entities and its subsidiaries and developed policies and
procedures for the New York State economic development loan programs. Mr.
Dwyer serves on the Town Council in the Town
of North Hempstead. In addition, he has served on the National Board of Big
Brother and Big Sisters of America and is a past First Vice President of
the Long Island Board of Big Brother and Big Sisters; he currently is on the organization's President's
Council. Mr. Dwyer also
serves on the Board of the Working Organization of Retarded Children and
Adults and served as a Commissioner of the North Hempstead Housing
Authority. Mr. Dwyer completed his MBA at Bernard Baruch Business School
in Corporate Finance and attended the State University of New York at
Stony Brook, where he received his BA in Economics/Political Science.

Peter Klein is a Vice President for the Fidelco Realty
Group, one of the three developers working on the $3.1 billion
redevelopment in Southwest Yonkers. Peter is the day-to-day project
manager for Struever Fidelco Cappelli LLC redevelopment in Yonkers,
where he is responsible for government relations, site assemblage, and
other aspects of the development process. Prior to working for Fidelco,
he was an investment banker for a series of firms working on mergers
& acquisitions and private debt and equity fundraising / placement,
and spent several years as a principal in the technology field focused
on distribution. In 2008, Peter was named "Businessman of the
Year" by the Yonkers YWCA. In 2007, he was named one of the Business Council
of Westchester's "Rising Stars", citing him as one of the
County's 40 under 40. Peter is on the Board of Directors of Alliance
National Insurance Company, the board of the Yonkers
Downtown BID, the board of the Yonkers Committee for Jewish Affairs,
the board of the
Yonkers Workforce
Investment Board of New York, the Alumni Board of Friends'
Central School (Philadelphia), and an Alumni Representative for Amherst
College. He received his B.A. in History with honors from
Amherst and a M.B.A. in Finance from the Leonard
N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Rob Leggio is the Principal of Bianca Realty and a
principal of the DaMaRo Restaurant Group - owners and operators of Zuppa
Restaurant and Lounge (in downtown Yonkers), Andiamo To Go (in
Yonkers) and
Mima Kitchen & Wine Bar (in Irvington). He is active in Yonkers real estate as a property
investor and manager while operating some of Westchester County's finest
restaurants. Rob is on the Board of Directors of the Yonkers
Downtown BID and the Yonkers
Partners in Education. Additionally, he serves on the Yonkers workforce
investment area of the Workforce
Investment Board of New York.

Keith Samaroo is an Associate Principal at Paulus
Sokolowski & Sartor (PS & S) and is responsible for managing the New York Offices on
Long Island and Yonkers
. He has more than 15 years of experience working in the private real
estate development and corporate markets. Keith is responsible for the
sales of engineering services within the real estate markets including
Brownfields, Waterfront and Urban Infill redevelopment projects.
He is also an executive officer of the board of US
Green Building Council of
Long Island
and serves on the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce Real Estate Committee. He
also received the Long Island Business News “40 Under 40” Award in
2003. He has a BS in Physics from Fordham
University, an Electrical Engineering Equivalent from Manhattan
College and a M.B.A. in Banking & Finance from Dowling
College
